Announcements
WELCOME NEWCOMERS. Welcome to the St. Anne’s Chapel where the traditional Latin Mass is offered every Sunday at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. Everyone is welcome to attend Mass, but please be aware that we have a dress code and rules to follow for the reception of Holy Communion. So, please read the information on the back of the Sunday bulletin.
CHRIST THE KING. Today is the Feast of Christ the King. There will be Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament after first Mass with the recitation of the Litany and the Consecration of the Human Race to the Sacred Heart.
CONFRATERNITY OF ST JOSEPH. Today is also the fourth Sunday of the month. We ask the men of the confraternity to join in the prayers after Mass for the intentions of reparation and other special intentions.
COOKIE & PIZZA FUNDRAISER. The students of St. Anne’s Academy are taking orders for cookies, pizza, desserts and more today in the vestibule. The deadline for orders is this Wednesday, October 28th.
HOLY HOUR. There will be a Holy Hour this Thursday evening from 11:00 p.m. until midnight in reparation to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Confessions will be heard during the Holy Hour.
VIGIL OF ALL SAINTS. This Saturday is the vigil of All Saints and a day of fast and complete abstinence.
DAYLIGHT SAVING TIME. Next Sunday ends Daylight Saving Time. Please remember to turn back your clocks one hour on Saturday evening.
PANCAKE BREAKFAST, RAFFLE, AND SILENT AUCTION. The students will serve a Pancake Breakfast next Sunday, November 1st, after both Masses. Silent auction bidding starts next Sunday and ends the following Sunday, November 8th. If you have any items to be sold at the auction, please bring them in today.
ALL SOULS’ DAY. Monday, November 2nd, is All Souls’ Day. There will be Masses at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Confessions will be heard at 6:30 p.m. Envelopes are available in the pews. Please fill out the names of the deceased that you would like to have remembered during the Masses on All Souls’ Day and turn in your envelopes by November 1st. Plenary indulgences can be gained during visits to the Blessed Sacrament on All Souls’ Day by praying 6 Our Fathers, Hail Marys and Glory Bes and by visiting a cemetery during the octave. Please see the sign in the vestibule for more details.
MODERNISM CLASS. The next Modernism class with Fr. Krug will be held on Thursday, November 5th at 7:30 p.m. in the school. All are welcome to attend.
PARISH WORK DAY. There will be a parish work day in order to clean up the yard on Saturday, November 14th.
LADIES’ DAY OF RECOLLECTION. On Saturday, November 21st, there will be a Ladies’ Day of Recollection. All women of the parish are invited and encouraged to attend. Registration forms are available in the vestibule.
CONFIRMATIONS. Confirmations will be held at St. Anne’s next September 2027. Testing dates for Confirmation will be held in the spring. Please call the Sisters for more information.
